Though we’ve already known about it for nearly half a year now, Beam Suntory has officially announced the US release of Haku Vodka. A 750ml bottle will go for $27.99 according to Kyodo News, putting it around the same US price point of Suntory’s Roku Gin.
It’s being targeted at luxury hotels and Japanese restaurants, so while you’re unlikely to see any bottles at your local liquor store, you should already be able to give it a try. Per Kyodo News, it’s set to launch next year in Europe and Japan as well. If that’s the case, it will follow in the footsteps of Suntory’s Midori melon liqueur, which was only released in Japan after its success overseas.
