If you missed last year’s opportunity to get into the Shizuoka Distillery’s Premium Bottle Selection program, you’ll soon have another chance. From 12PM JST on June 5 you’ll be able to join once again via Gaiaflow’s Whisky Port online shop.
Joining the program is now slightly cheaper, at a cost of 257,040 yen after tax. From March 2019, you’ll receive 6 bottles every year to gauge the progress of the whisky as it ages. It ends with a 5-year single cask whisky in 2023.
