Suntory hasn’t announced it yet but it looks like they’re gearing up to launch “Haku,” a Japanese Craft Vodka. It’s 40% abv, made entirely from rice, and described as soft, round, and subtly sweet. I have no idea how it’s any different from their US-only Ao Vodka, if at all. But since Roku gin has done alright, maybe they decided to give vodka another try.
I’m guessing this is Suntory’s answer to Nikka’s Coffey Vodka. Hopefully there will be an official line soon. I’ll post more details when I get them!
Update 11-Sep: And now there’s a pic of the bottle!

Any word about whether or not this is simply AO repackaged or something different?
