16 different sake breweries are coming together over two days as part of the Shibuya Sake Festival 2017. This year’s festival has grown from a one-day event to a two-day event, with each day featuring different breweries.
Kurand is also behind this one. There are 4 different areas at the event:
- Sake area with booths for each brewery as well as specialized booths for sparkling sake, aged sake, etc.
- fruit drink area with umeshu/other fruit-based liqueurs
- “enjoy” area that has a lounge/DJ space, sake workshop booth, and cocktail booth featuring sake cocktails from the members-only bar Craft Cocktail
- food area with offerings that go well with sake
Of course the main attraction is the sake itself, which you can enjoy as much as you like from 11AM to 6PM (last order 5PM). The 1-day pass runs 3000 yen or you can attend both days for 5000 yen. Tickets are available in advance from PassMarket.
