The latest news out of Nikka’s Yoichi distillery is that they’ve just released a distillery-limited blended whisky. It’s simply called “Yoichi Distillery Limited Blended Whisky” and there’s no other information about the blend available at the moment, so it’s difficult to tell exactly what’s going on here. 500ml goes for 3000 yen including tax, so fairly affordable as far as limited edition bottlings go. Bottled at 40% abv.
If we’re lucky it’s similar to their flagship blended whisky, Taketsuru. Which itself has seen Yoichi-only releases in the past.
See my Yoichi distillery visit report for more info on Yoichi, as well as my tasting notes for some previous distillery-limited bottlings!
