Two new chuhais from Suntory to keep an eye out for in October. The first is Strong Zero Double Orange, a limited release launching on October 3rd. 9% abv, 350ml/500ml. They’ve used both orange juice and orange-infused liquor in creating this one, thus the “double” orange.
For those who want to stay more sober, the Horoyoi series is probably a better option. Horoyoi means “tipsy” and they tend to have 3-4% abv rather than the typical 5-6% you see in regular chuhais. In any case the Horoyoi Red Apple is another limited release at 3% abv, dropping on October 10th. And the commercials feature Erika Sawajiri!
