2017’s Chichibu Whisk(e)y Matsuri has been announced: February 19, 11AM to 5PM.
2017 marks the 4th year of the Chichibu Whisk(e)y Matsuri, and once again it’s being held at the Chichibu Shrine.
Advance tickets are currently on sale at eplus for 3000 yen for those living in Japan. For those not living in Japan, according to the event’s Facebook page, you can send them a FB message that contains your contact details to register for will call tickets for the same price on the day of the event. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay 5000 yen at the door.
Like last year, the venerable Chichibu Distillery will be hosting tours on Saturday February 18th, though this will require an additional 1500 yen ticket purchase. That ticket is also available at eplus, though unfortunately no mention of how overseas visitors can sign up for those. There are six tour times, each accommodating 20 visitors.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
